Privacy Notice
This notice applies specifically to external accounts connected through KIVIOX Connect.
What KIVIOX accesses
KIVIOX requests only the provider permissions needed for the connector the user chooses. Launch connectors cover YouTube channels, eligible Instagram Professional accounts, Facebook Pages and X accounts. KIVIOX does not request or store a user's provider password.
What KIVIOX stores
Server-side encrypted access or refresh tokens may be stored while a connection remains active. KIVIOX also stores source identifiers, account labels, source URLs, publication timestamps, captions or text, eligible media references, synchronization status and provenance needed to present the user's connected timeline.
How connected data is used
Connected data is used to let the authorizing user review, synchronize and source-attribute eligible external posts on KIVIOX. Imported references are not represented as KIVIOX-native originals. Publication to a public KIVIOX creator timeline occurs only when the user publishes an item or explicitly enables auto-publish.
YouTube API Services
KIVIOX Connect uses YouTube API Services. YouTube audiovisual files are not downloaded, backed up or stored by KIVIOX through this connector. YouTube playback uses official YouTube playback. Public YouTube metadata displayed by KIVIOX is refreshed or withheld when it becomes stale under applicable YouTube API policies.
Use of a YouTube connection is also governed by the YouTube Terms of Service and Google's Privacy Policy.
Retention, disconnection and revocation
Users may disconnect an account from KIVIOX Connect at any time. Disconnecting deletes the KIVIOX connection record and its imported references from the Connect database. Provider-side authorization may also be revoked through the provider's own account controls. Google access can be reviewed or revoked from Google Account connections.
Security
Provider tokens are encrypted before database storage and are never returned to browser code. OAuth state values are one-time and expire. X uses OAuth 2.0 PKCE. KIVIOX applies server-side authorization before connection, feed or synchronization operations.
