Production Compliance Policy

Accurate production classifications, creator certification and review before publication.

Effective October 3, 2026 · Version 4.

AI and Traditional production compliance

Before uploading, select AI or Traditional and certify that the selection and AI disclosures accurately describe the production. AI includes productions with AI generated picture, animation, voices, music or other creative content, including mixed human and AI productions. Traditional productions contain no AI generated creative content. Ordinary editing, encoding, color correction and technical restoration alone do not change a Traditional production to AI; generative replacement of creative content does.

Disclose the AI systems used to create content. A Traditional selection cannot be paired with disclosed generative AI systems. Certification does not establish ownership, consent, copyright protection or eligibility for monetization. All rights and review requirements remain applicable.

Reviewers assess the certified selection alongside the production and its Passport. Uploading and certification do not approve publication. After review and approval, the published movie appears on Home and on the selected AI or Traditional page, with the corresponding icon. Availability remains subject to rights, territory and profile restrictions.

Changing the production type or AI disclosures requires renewed certification and a saved Passport version. Published records cannot be silently reclassified. Report errors through support; a correction must be reviewed before the revised classification is published. Kiviox may request evidence or corrections, delay approval, restrict or remove a misclassified production, and apply account restrictions for deliberate or repeated false declarations. Creators may contact support to challenge a classification decision.

Certification records include the account that submitted the declaration, the saved Passport version, certification statement and timestamp. Earlier records are retained under the Privacy Policy. Historical productions are not represented as newly certified without a creator certification.

Classification checks and flagged submissions

Kiviox checks disclosures and provenance descriptions for possible production type inconsistencies. When a detection service is connected, automated visual screening assesses up to 60 seconds from an encoded copy of the current master and may flag possible AI generated visuals. For longer films, the service screens a sample from the middle of the video. The creator and reviewer tools show the sampled time range. The remaining footage is not automatically screened, and sample findings cannot establish the production type of an entire film. Detection scores are signals for review, not proof of a complete film’s production type. An absence of visual AI findings does not rule out AI voices, music, other generated creative content or footage the detector missed. The current detector status is shown in the creator and reviewer tools. Secure, time limited media access may be issued to a detection processor for this review. Reviewers must inspect the current master and supporting production evidence. An inconclusive result requires further verification before approval.

If a possible mismatch is flagged, a compliance statement appears before submission. To keep the selected type and send the production for review, the creator must check the statement and confirm. The statement confirms the declaration to the best of the creator’s knowledge, requests review of the flagged issue and acknowledges that Kiviox may require supporting evidence or a corrected, recertified type. Cancelling returns the creator to corrections. Confirmation allows submission, preserves the warning and does not authorize publication.

The flag and creator confirmation are visible to the reviewer. A reviewer finding that AI content was submitted as Traditional, or Traditional content was submitted as AI, raises a serious classification warning and blocks approval. The creator must correct and recertify the production when the selected type is wrong. Reviewers document evidence and rationale for any resolution. Replacing the master or changing the Passport invalidates earlier verification and requires review of the current version. Checks, confirmations and reviewer findings are recorded in the audit history.

Rights, safety and evidence

Both categories must meet the same technical, rights, consent, safety, maturity classification and editorial standards. Do not conceal AI use, impersonate people, misrepresent endorsements or publish material without the permissions required for its voices, likenesses, music, source materials and territories. Keep evidence sufficient to support your declarations and provide it through an approved secure channel when requested.

Existing published works remain subject to their original approvals. The required selection and certification apply to new uploads and revised production records. Existing titles with historical AI disclosures may retain their category without being described as newly certified.
